Charity of the Year
Many sports clubs, businesses and social networking groups choose to support a charity each year. By nominating UCARE they raise vital funding for our work and generate a greater awareness of urological cancers within their group.
Choosing to support UCARE you can be assured that you are never a number on a data base but a part of our team in the battle against urological cancer.
You can be assured that we are always available to help you in anyway, whether it is providing information, supplying UCARE branded merchandise, or helping at an event or function, we will always do whatever we can to support you.
Please contact us for any further information or a fundraising pack, we look forward to hearing from you.

Solar Clear Ltd are sponsoring the UCARE, RHS Spring Festival show garden.
We are proud to be sponsors of the UCARE RHS Malvern show garden. We particularly like the use of colour chosen in Emily Sharpe’s design to compliment UCARE’s bulb Tulip ‘Caresse’ which has become a symbol of hope in the treatment and care of patients with urological cancers. We are delighted that Solar Clear Ltd will help to raise the profile of this tremendous charity.
Art in Action
This year Art in Action at Waterperry Gardens is supporting UCARE.
Last year the Gardens hosted a charity bulb day with famous speakers such as Anna Pavord, Val Bourne, and Johnny Walkers. At lunch I got talking to their Head of Fundraising, Jane Henman mother of the famous tennis player, Tim and, as well as talking about the mental game of tennis, the idea of our charities mutually supporting each other came about.
The charity has a tulip motif and at the show this year they will have a tent with tulip inspired artworks being created and on display. You can give a modest amount to the UCARE charity when you buy a ticket online here.
And just get in touch with the team at HQ if you are looking for assistance with large group bookings.
Thank you also for your Painting tent memories submitted so far - please keep them coming. We will share our favourite next month.
CED Stone Group
CED Stone Group are sponsoring the UCARE, RHS Spring Festival show garden.
CED Stone Group are proud to be supporting UCARE at this years RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2016. The UCARE show garden designed by the award winning Emily Sharpe from Garden Stories will undoubtedly create a lot of interest and publicity for the charity helping to raise awareness of urological cancer.
I had the pleasure of first meeting Emily Sharpe at the Blenheim Palace Garden Show in 2015 where she was awarded a well deserved Gold Medal and Best in Show. I was very impressed with her design and the quality of the construction of garden, so it is a real pleasure to be able sponsor the UCARE Show Garden Emily has designed. CED will be donating Golden Amber Footpath Gravel and providing some financial support to help facilitate the creation of garden.
Champagne Lanson International
Lanson will be sponsoring the UCARE, RHS Spring Festival show garden.
UCARE (Urology Cancer Research and Education) is a small, independent charity committed to improving the treatment and care of cancer patients through research and education. And as an independent family-run Champagne House, we were delighted to be asked to be involved when we were approached by the Charity; and we are delighted to announce UCARE as our chosen Charity for 2016.
Five Star Events
We are honoured to have been chosen as the 2016 Charity of The Year by Oxfordshire’s Five Star Events. Five Star Events have been managing golf days around the Oxfordshire area for 26 years raising money for local charities.
There are seven events scheduled for this year at seven of the top golf clubs in the county, traditionally at the last event in November they have a celebrity golfer playing and this year Sky Sports presenter Sarah Stirk will be representing UCARE.
We are delighted to have UCARE as our nominated charity for 2016, and to have Sarah Stirk as our sporting celebrity. Sarah will be our first lady celebrity and follows 15 other great sportsmen who have supported our charities.
2016 is the 27th season since Five Star Events was formed and we have been raising money for local charities since 2000. To date a total in excess of £100,000 has been donated to 14 different charities. Full details of our events can be found on our website www.5starevents.org.uk
