One of the biggest changes to UK data privacy law comes into effect on 25th May 2018.

As you know, at UCARE we are not big on needless and expensive mailings and only send out a couple of newsletters a year to keep you updated, but we will soon be prompting you to choose how you would like to receive updates from us.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR for short) is a really positive step towards you having more control over how your data is used and how you're contacted. The changes will also help to better protect your personal data.

Just to reassure you that we never share your information or buy information, and have always given our supporters the chance to decline contact, but as part of these changes, UCARE will soon be asking you how you would like to be contacted.
